How can you expect to motivate others without first understanding your own drivers. What gets you out of bed in the morning? How can you expect to inspire others without first considering your own identity, your purpose and reflecting on your impact in how you lead others?
Once you are aware of this we can then start to look at your unique approaches to motivating others. We all have different needs, we all need something different from our line managers.
